Ramya Kumar – Co-Founder and President
With a background in Journalism, Ramya Kumar has been a feature writer for The Courier, The Vancouver Sun and a columnist for The Statesman and India Abroad.
Ramya’s lifelong passion for International Dance and Arts has enabled her to create, present and share multicultural concerts and entertainment events in Canada and abroad. To date she has choreographed and presented well over 1400 stage shows and cultural and educational entertainment events.
As a dancer, Ramya Kumar has performed for world dignitaries, namely Her Highness Queen Elizabeth, former Prime Minister of India, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, former Premier of British Columbia as well as numerous Canadian dignitaries.
Loxley International Foundation was established in 2015 which focuses on Harmony and Peaceful Togetherness of all races and cultures sharing their rich cultures and traditional arts through community events, exhibitions, workshops and social exchange programmes. All services are primarily geared towards the total well-being of Seniors, in particular marginalized individuals in the communities.

Conducts WELLNESS SESSIONS IN YOGA PILATES, COMPLETE STRETCH, FITNESS DANCE SESSIONS, MIND STIMULATION & ENTERTAINMENT SESSIONS, SOCIAL INTERACTION EVENTS for Seniors at Aaniin Community Center. Above stated sessions were conducted VIRTUALLY during Covid Pandemic for all communities.

“ IT’S SO GLOBAL” – an INTERNATIONAL EVENT on behalf of Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation (OLG) and Canadian Bank Note Ltd. in Bermuda.
Cultural Variety Show. Choreographed, trained and presented the concert with 55 participants, all Canadians at Minkler Auditorium, Seneca College.
Planned and presented a Cultural Concert featuring 15 performance groups with a total of 180 performers at MARKHAM EXPO, A grand 2-day event by the City of Markham.
Planned and presented the indoor exhibition featuring 26 Canadian artistes, sculptors and decorators at MARKHAM EXPO ARTS & CULTURE EXHIBITION.
Presented Cultural Concerts both outdoor and indoor Canada Day Celebrations on behalf of the City of Durham and the City of Markham. All Canada Day presentations have been on an on-going basis from 1988 to 2019 with the exception of 2020 due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Ashique Bhaloo – Co-Founder & Director
A Lotteries & Charitable Gaming veteran for over 13 years, Ashique has overseen and managed Charitable Gaming projects both locally and internationally. Working in various capacities with Canadian Bank Note, the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, and Ontario Lottery and Gaming he implemented, launched, managed and marketed Charitable Gaming projects in Italy, Ontario, Atlantic Canada, Bermuda, and most recently with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment at the Air Canada Center. While he stopped counting at around $10 million, Mr. Bhaloo is sure his efforts have resulted in many, many more millions raised for local and international charities.
In addition to degrees in Business (Marketing) and English Literature from York and Windsor Universities respectively, he is proficient in 5 languages and is known for his skills in Relationship Management. Ashique is competitive race driver and an award-winning auto enthusiast, usually displaying his classics in charity car shows in and around the GTA.
As an Ismaili, Voluntary/Social Work is a large part of his culture and he feels strongly that more effective social progression can be achieved through partnerships with charitable organizations.
Neelam Sharma – Director
Neelam has over 35 years of combined experience in the field of education as a teacher with the Toronto Board of Education and the Heritage Languages Programme, of which she is currently a part of. She has several years of legal administrative experience with a law firm. As of 1987 to present, Neelam has been actively involved in all aspects of production, participation & promotion of multicultural event presentations. She is also in the real estate and property management field. For the past 30 years Neelam has been a volunteer providing Yoga training as well as assisting in the organization of fundraising events for United Way, Canadian Cancer Society, Seniors Organizations in York Region and Durham Region and the Association for MS.
